African Roasted Salmon

About the Recipe

Ras el hanout, a sweet and spicy North African spice blend, makes a great pairing with salmon and coconut milk for an easy meal.

Serves 4


  • 4 (6-ounce) salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup canned coconut milk
  • 2 tablespoons ras el hanout spice mix
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Preheat the oven to 400°F. Oil a baking dish.

Whisk together coconut milk, ras el hanout, salt and pepper in a small bowl. Pour mixture over salmon. Place salmon in the baking dish and roast on the top rack of the oven, about 15 minutes, until salmon is cooked through.
