Founded in 1972 by a progressive group of civic leaders, clergy, and concerned residents, UVSO has always been committed to improving the lives of all residents in the Vailsburg area. Unified Vailsburg Services Organization’s mission is to create a stable and compassionate community in the Vailsburg neighborhood of the City of Newark, New Jersey.
